Nelson and Leo owners of Viet Shack have known each other most of their lives (they’re practically family). Leo, originally from an accounting background and Nelson, a fashion designer, just had a love for proper Vietnamese food.
In 2015 they opened up Viet Shack in the Arndale Food market, serving fresh fast food with a Vietnamese twist.
After the blooming success of the Arndale market Leo and Nelson looked to expand to a restaurant. They found their new home in Ancoats, and in the Summer of 2018 they opened their doors, which they’ve had people queuing out of ever since.
These two are all about homemade, fresh and tasty food and also, just having a good time. Friends, family and good vibes only.
